New XBox, real box, real announce and more
| As you read this, the real XBox
hardware is already shown up in USA. Several thousand members of the press
and the industry are currently picking their jaws off of the floor after
witnessing the glorious unveiling of the Xbox.
At the end of Bill Gates CES (Consumer
Electronics Show) Keynote address, he shocked all present by showing how |

exactly the Xbox would look like this
year. The floor opened and the Xbox rose slowly into sight, provoking a
standing ovation from the audience. The applause had to be cut short so
that Microsoft could cause an even bigger commotion by showing the first
ever footage of actual Xbox games than the Playstation 2 games.
All the new XBox games including
the two, Malice (Argonaut) and Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee (Oddworld Inhabitants/Microsoft)
demos were already showed off the console's power with actual game footage
running on virtual Xbox hardware. The two 3D platform games wowed the audience
with their detailed characters, spectacular lighting, Full Scene Anti-Aliasing
and with incredible frame-rate shown.
